The work is dated 1989, but it wasn't put into this setting in the Toa Payoh Town Centre until sometime in 2004. [I'm uncertain about the exact date, so please correct me if you know better.]

The scale is interesting - it works well in a public space. I'm not sure I buy the way the mother is holding the child however.
