One of a series of four different groupings of marine animals placed around the town centre. Despite their resemblance to garden furniture or playground elements, most of these pieces are specifically marked out as 'art' by the way they are protected from passers-by, by being placed on a pedestal or behind a decorative fence, and explicitly by the text of the labels that are found on three of the four groupings. The sealions are an exception: they seem remarkably well-integrated into their surroundings!
