public art contest for Beijing Olympics
Intriguing story has been picked up by many newspapers. We link to the Xinhua version. Designs will be solicited via Chinese missions and "international agencies and institutions". Some 200 works will tour China, before some 30 works are selected as winners. Public voting will be part of the assessment process.Technorati Tags: public art, China, sculpture
