a new activity for Beihai - China's first national sand sculpture contest
Strangely doesn't look like there's much variety here.... The winner is 'Hometown to south pearls', created by Zhang Yangen, an associate professor of Guangxi Arts Institute. The theme was towns of the southern silk route. No doubt the choice of the "hometown of the south pearls" holds some reference to China's peaceful southwards expansion!Labels: China
